Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 14 July 2026
1. About this policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions and describes how we handle your payments when you cancel, when a charge is wrong, or when a new subscription turns out not to be for you. The Service is operated by RollPlayRadio, an Australian sole trader (ABN 96 112 144 798) based in Queensland, Australia.
This policy runs alongside your legal rights, not in place of them. If a consumer protection law that applies to you gives you a remedy that this policy does not, that remedy still stands.
2. Cancelling your subscription
There is no lock-in. You can switch off renewal at any time from Manage Billing in your account. Once renewal is off we stop charging you, and your paid features stay active until the period you have already paid for runs out. Cancelling part-way through a period does not by itself refund the days you have not used, unless your consumer rights say otherwise.
3. New-subscription satisfaction refund
We would rather you moved on than felt stuck with a plan that was not right. So if a subscription is new to you and you have barely touched its paid features, reach out within two days of that first charge and we will give the payment back in full. This is a goodwill promise on top of the consumer protections in section 7, not a replacement for them.
4. Charges we will put right
Some refunds are simply us correcting something that went wrong:
- A billing slip on our side. If the amount was off, the same subscription was charged twice, or a charge landed after you had already cancelled, tell us and we will fix it and hand back anything you were over-charged.
- A charge you never approved. If a payment appears that you did not authorise, let us know quickly. We will look into it and return anything we confirm should not have been taken.
5. Charges we generally will not refund
Away from the cases above, and always subject to your consumer rights, a refund usually is not available for:
- changing your mind about a plan you have already used for a while;
- the leftover days of a period you decided to end early;
- payments on an account we had to close because our Terms were broken; or
- a renewal that went ahead because it was never switched off. Renewals are automatic, so the time to act is before the next billing date.
6. If we change or withdraw the Service
If we retire a paid feature you were counting on, or end your paid access for something that is not your fault, we will pay back the share of any prepaid fee you had not yet used, worked out in proportion to the time remaining.
7. Your consumer rights
Australian law gives our service consumer guarantees that cannot be contracted away, and nothing here reduces them. If you are buying from the EU or UK, you may also have a 14-day right to change your mind; keep in mind that when you ask us to start streaming paid content straight away and we do, that particular right ends once supply has begun. Your other statutory protections are untouched.
8. Disputes and chargebacks
If a charge looks wrong, a quick message to us is nearly always faster than opening a dispute with your bank, and it lets us fix the problem with you directly. Bank chargebacks are slow and leave us with fees. If one is raised and later turns out to have been unwarranted, we may reclaim the amount involved together with any fees it cost us, and may hold the account while the matter is sorted out.
9. Requesting a refund and how it comes back
To ask for a refund, message us through our contact form with the email your account uses and a line or two about what happened. We aim to get back to you within a few business days. Anything we approve is returned through Stripe to the payment method you used; how soon it appears after that depends on your bank, but it is usually a week or two.
10. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy occasionally. When a change is significant we will update the date shown above and let you know by email or through the Service, and the version that was live when you bought applies to that purchase.
